Automotive software developers: that is Audev. With their product CarIT, a Dealer Management System, they specialise in creating administrative software for the automotive sector.
Audev does this for companies including Toyota, Lexus, Suzuki and Jaguar/Land Rover, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
Ad Schevers is the managing director of Audev. He has been active in the automotive industry since 1984, which makes him the go-to person for his 20 employees on anything to do with cars and administrative systems.
Since 2012, Ad and his team have positioned CarIT as the administrative backbone for dealerships. Thanks to the ability to link data via APIs with systems such as those of manufacturers, they were quickly noticed in the automotive world and have been growing ever since.
Ad found his way to Interforce through word of mouth. Because Interforce already had knowledge of CarIT in-house, the software could be moved seamlessly from the previous partner to the Interforce Cloud Application servers. Since then, the partnership has grown stronger and both parties keep finding new common ground for further joint growth. For example, Interforce now handles the installation of CarIT at end users completely independently.
“Both companies continuously work towards greater efficiency and a better-quality product for our users. We entrust the technical side entirely to Interforce,” says Ad.
Audev’s private cloud environment consists of several Cloud Application servers, each with its own dedicated functions. This set-up guarantees the flexibility and availability of Audev’s software. After all, CarIT’s users and developers need to be able to access their data at any time. Thanks to its technical expertise, Interforce can monitor the cloud environment proactively, so that potential problems can be identified and resolved in good time.
Audev also uses Interforce’s Cloud Workplace solution. This means they are fully relieved of their own IT concerns as well, giving them a great deal of freedom.
