Interforce is a "Qualified Multitenant Hoster". This means we are authorised by Microsoft to host your Windows Virtual Machines, under a Microsoft Cloud Agreement subscription or an Enterprise Agreement/MPSA agreement, on hardware reserved for you or on a hardware platform shared with others. We are also authorised to host Office 365 ProPlus (including E3 and E5), Project Online Professional and Visio Pro for Office 365 using so-called "shared computer activation (SCA)" technology. So what exactly does SCA mean? Office 365 is intended to be used on the computer(s) of the user to whom the subscription is assigned. However, there are many situations in which a user does not have their own computer but shares the same hardware with other users. Shared Computer Activation (SCA) is a way of activating Office 365 that allows multiple Office 365 users to use shared hardware. Think, for example, of a Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment on a server in your own data centre or on a Cloud server (Azure) hosted by Interforce.

Windows 10 Virtualisation and SCA for Office 365 ProPlus, Project Online Professional and Visio Pro for Office 365 give you choice and flexibility. They allow you to use your existing Windows 10 and Office 365 licences when you want to start using the Cloud.
You can choose where to place your IT environment: on systems at your own location or in the Interforce data centre. Interforce is an "Authorized QMTH partner" that gives you the choice of using your Office 365 ProPlus, Project Online Professional, Visio Pro for Office 365 and the eligible Windows 10 products on the cloud infrastructure of your choice.

As of 1 August 2017, the following Windows licences purchased through Microsoft Volume Licensing include rights for "Qualified Multitenant Hosting":
• Windows 10 Enterprise E3 and E5 per User with SA
• Windows 10 Enterprise E3 and E5 VDA per User

As of 6 September 2017, the following Windows subscriptions include virtualisation rights for both customer-specific ("dedicated") and shared hardware in data centres managed by authorised QMTH Partners such as Interforce:
• Windows 10 Enterprise E3 and E5 (with VDI)
• Windows 10 Enterprise E3 VDA
• Microsoft 365 Enterprise (formerly Secure Productive Enterprise or SPE) E3 and E5
Which Office 365 products support SCA?"
SCA mode works with Office 365 ProPlus, Project Online Professional and Visio Pro for Office 365. All Office 365 plans that include Office 365 ProPlus, Project Online Professional and Visio Pro for Office 365 are able to use SCA.
