EZ-base

EZ-base is the central article database for the construction industry. A major player in this market with 2 million records of hardware and tools. In the database, product information is collected from suppliers. The specialist trade can in turn use the database to feed web shops or catalogs, for example.
Ron van den Bosch, director of EZ-base, came into contact with Interforce when they were looking for a new website. “We started talking and one thing led to another”. Ron discovered the versatility of Interforce and this gave the impulse to the use of Cloud Application for the services of EZ-base.
EZ-base encountered challenges due to the closed hosting system it used at the time. The most important thing for Ron and his team was that they had more control over the database hosting, more flexibility, speed and scalability. Interforce took care of the migration of the servers to the Cloud Application environment. EZ-base, together with the software supplier, was able to separate the various functions from the database, so that each server could get its own function. For example, there is now a server that only takes care of the export and a web server for displaying products. This way EZ-base, together with Interforce, ensures that the database works as efficiently as possible. Everything comes together in the fast cloud storage environment, where the various servers and functions can all retrieve their data.

This scalability, in combination with full control and the flexibility it offers, is the reason for EZ-base to collaborate with Interforce. "
